What is a Koala Scholar ?

A Koala scholar is a student who is a high school senior. Student must apply and be accepted to a 2 year or 4 year institution by the scholarship announcement date. 

What is the requirements?

1. Write a 275 word essay.

2 Students majoring in a degree that supports animal lovers: zoology, veterinarian, animal science, etc.

2. Include your first and last name, state and show proof of the college acceptance once you are named the winner.

3. Email the essay to koalizedfans@gmail.com

4. Winner will send a picture to share on our website/social media page.

 

What are the deadlines?

August 1: The scholarship essay contest for the 2025-2026 starts

March 20: All essays are due

June 1: Winners will be announced on social media

June 15: Gift card will be mailed to winners

How can the scholarship be used?

This year 2 recepients will receive Amazon gift cards worth $250.00. The card can be used to purchase college essentials for the classroom or dorm.
